It obviously has nothing to do exactly with the dragon rising to the surface, but rather the surface moving closer to the dragon. Al Gore told me it's due to Global Warming.

Well damn. This means that Tyria needs more pirates to reverse global warming!

Really, Drakker is closer to the surface? I may head out there to take a look at the old guy.

There are no changes to the dragon in the ice. Your imaginations are running wild in the absence of any GW2 info.

Have you noticed also the Bone Dragon on Pre Searing Ascalon? It is on the Catacombs part.

Wow Drakkar sure looks a lote closer or atleast clearer through the ice now compared to what he/she used to be. Perhaps Anet are just tweaking things here and there to promote GW2. I suggest everyone keep their eyes out, try and spot anything different.

Yeah, I saw it coming. Armageddon.

Eve caused Adam to eat from the fruit, and mankind was expelled from paradise.

Now Fae Orchid stomps over a lake and the end of days gets closer.

wasn't there an update a few months back that they changed the ice texture to make Drakkar more visible?

i do agree though, he does look to be rising....
it'd be awesome to one day go to Drakkar lake and have those earth tremors like the ones you get doing the "to eye of the north" quests xD

They do follow up in GW2. That will be one of the main enemies in GW2. Pay Attention.

It does look a bit closer, simply based on how hard it was to see a few months ago when last I looked.

Who knows, Dragonfest is just around the corner!

I just went to Drakkar, he does seem higher, the highest point of him *the back* was only about a foot or so away from my sin! O.o got a pic of it.
